Fahlgren Mortine's challenge was to expand the brand campaign, applying it to the retail promotions and specific products that would help MVB achieve its growth goals.
Using the "MVB Bank. Your Financial Life. Made Easy." campaign theme – Fahlgren Mortine was able to promote the MVB experience of banking while selling retail-focused products such as checking and CDs.
In 2015, Fahlgren Mortine had the added responsibility of media planning and buying. And while traditional media such as radio and newspaper continued to be placed paid search, social media and online marketing were added to the mix...a first for MVB Bank. Fahlgren Mortine also helped the bank implement an in-branch strategy to help cross-promote products and drive brand awareness.
With a 28% increase in total new money over the previous year, the numbers for MVB Bank speak for themselves:
- New checking accounts up 10%
- New savings accounts up 35%
- New CD openings up 18%
- Total deposits up 18%
- Online banking tool use up 104%
- Mobile remote despot capture usage has doubled
- Market share up almost 4%
