Fahlgren Mortine has more than a decade of experience working in social media, online community building and Internet marketing. Long before social media was actually called social media, we were helping clients make sense of the web and how to use conversations – both listening to them and participating in them – to further marketing goals. Our services are vast in this area but our approach is consistent: we believe social media should and must be woven into everything a brand does. We look for every possible angle to promote, amplify and extend programs socially for our clients.
Meet a few of our Social Media team members:
Chrystie Reep | Senior Vice President, Media Connections Director The world of media is constantly changing. And Chrystie has spent her career not only embracing new opportunities for clients, but also anticipating them. In fact, her knack for finding unexpected and meaningful ways for brands to connect with the right people at the right time and in the right place makes her one of Fahlgren Mortine's most valuable assets.
Melissa Carney | Associate Vice President Melissa provides overall strategic counsel and strategy for new internal social media programs, creates and implements staff trainings and presents on social media on behalf of the agency. Melissa is co-founder of the Cleveland Social Media Club, a former instructor of social media at Cuyahoga Community College and cofounder of @inTheCLE, a citizen voice social media channel. In 2013, she earned a spot on the PR News People to Watch in PR list, an honor awarded to promising young practitioners. When she's not delivering social media results for Fahlgren Mortine clients, Melissa spends her free time exploring social media. She has been blogging on her personal website, I Crashed The Web, since 2008, manages the social media channels for three nonprofit boards she belongs to, and frequently attends local tweet ups.
